From A to Z

The island of Rab belongs to the group of Kvarner islands along with Krk, Cres, Lošinj, and Pag. Together with Pag, it forms a special group of inner or eastern series, recognized as early as the 4th century BC in Pseudo-Scylax’s Periplus, where they are referred to as Mentorides and belong to Liburnia. The Liburnian Arb is succeeded by the Roman Arba, confirming its membership in the Roman political and civilizational community with Augustus’s gift of fortifications and towers 10 years before Christ’s birth. In later regional divisions, until 1918, Rab belonged to Dalmatia, and then to the Croatian Littoral, today the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County.

ITINERARY:

Departure from Krk at 9:30 am towards the island of Rab.
Arrival in the city of Rab around 11:30 am, with an organized city tour by a licensed guide (in Croatian, English, German, and Italian) lasting approximately 45 minutes. After the tour of the old town of Rab, free time for swimming or other activities in the city of Rab until 2:00 pm.
Departure from Rab at 2:00 pm towards Lun on the island of Pag, with lunch served on board. The menu includes meat or fish with a side dish and one complimentary drink (wine, water, or juice).
Lunch is served to guests at their seats, as arranged at the start.
Arrival in Lun around 2:30 pm and a tour of the old olive trees, with approximately 80,000 trees in Lun and its surroundings. The Lun olive groves are protected due to specimens aged up to 1600 years. The walk through the olive groves lasts about 30 minutes, followed by a short time for swimming from the boat or from a nearby beach. Return to the boat at 4:00 pm.
Departure from the island of Pag towards the island of Krk is exactly at 4:00 pm. Near the islet of Galun, seagulls are briefly fed in passing, a ritual they are accustomed to, and guests can enjoy the spectacle and take photos.

Meeting Point

M/S Tajana is located in front of hotel Marina. In order to get better seats, we kindly envite you to come earlier and make early check-in on board at 8,30 h. After you have taken your seats, you can still drink some coffee at the boat or directly beside at the port coffee shops. Departure towards the island of Rab is scheduled for 9:30 am.
