Guided kayak tour with snorkelling

Back into 2012 this excursion was elected as the ‘top secret for the Kvarner Bay’ from one of the best read tourist guides, Marco Polo. Since then many guests, especially families have experienced this unique tour interesting for both, adults and children. If you like beeing outdoor, you will enjoy kayak experience anywhere in the world, but sometimes beeing in a foreign country and not knowing the are very good can pull you back from renting kayaks, especially if you are bringing children with you. This is why this little kayak trip is pretty much ideal: a good mixure of all three, safety, outdoor and adventure – tailor made for families.

How to prepare for this excursion? Let’s go: you will need a towel and a standard beachwear, enough water, some sandwich/fruit/snacks, waterproof shoes and sun protection (hat, glasses and sun lotion). Prepared you are coming to our kayak center in scheduled time with Adriapass voucher. There you will be introduced to one of our guides and given complete kayak equipment (kayak, safety vest, paddel and waterproof container (24 l). This is where you will pack you private necessities, food and water. After we are packed, guide will give some basic instroctions in kayaking and tour itinerery.

After 45 minutes – 1 hour (maximum) of kayaking you will arrive in a hidden little bay, ideal for snorkelling. Our guide who is marine biologist as well, will make here an introduction into sea life which will be discovered few minutes later by snorkelling. Because of the warmth and sun, shallow litoral is full of sea life, but you have to know where to start your search. This is absolute lottery winner, from all of our sea excursions, because this is absolute closest to the nature and sealife as you can get!

Following with a small picknick with everything we have brought in our waterproof containers, we will have some rest before we return to kayak center. One of the dream excursions for outdoor lovers for next summer.. try it out 😉
